In the past Turkish culture lived as a nomad as many years. When we look at the shamans in nomad cultures, they have a role to show themselves
as a god. Despite shaman, clan has balancing role between the shaman and nature. Shaman's mysticisms and spiritual side creates mysterious emotions
about shaman. These three elements always supporting construction and deconstruction. With that perception, it creates a cycle in itself. When this catatonia seen in human character, we can see ego as a balancing factor. After I was thinking about ego's balancing factor in human being. In Islamic culture, there is a mystical practice in Islam, which is called as Sufism. Sufi Dervishes of Mevlevi orders, also have special rites. Sufi spinning is one of the way for meditation. During this meditation they are try to reach
perfection. They are seeking through self, ego and personal desires by focusing god. With beginning of this dance they are believing they reborn to the truth. While spinning their right arms directed to sky, their left turned toward to earth. Right hand is receiving God's beneficence, and left hand is transmit them. With this revolving between the right and left hand , dervish embraces all humanity with love. With the growing of real love, they believe, he will transcend ego, meet with the truth and reach perfection without any belief, class or race.
